Electrical outfitting is where engineering meets the reality of a ship under construction: changing schedules, many trades working in the same spaces and limited access. Our supervisors have done this work on hundreds of vessels. They plan cable routes and installation sequences together with the yard to avoid rework, keep penetrations tight and fire-safe, and leave the vessel with a tidy, well-labelled installation that crews can maintain for decades.
Safety and respect on site
Our teams work by the yard's safety rules and our own: permits to work, safe isolation before connection, proper protective equipment and clean, orderly workplaces. We respect the other trades on board and coordinate closely so that everyone can work safely.
Material efficiency
Careful cable scheduling and routing reduces cable lengths and offcuts, saving copper, weight and cost — and leaving more capacity for future modifications.
